The Boy Team (that’s everyone except me and my knees) did a short walk into Walpa Gorge.
The photo above gives some perspective to the size of the towering sides to the Gorge. You can just see John (in blue) taking a photo of Harry (in red) at the bottom of the pic. Click on the pic to enlarge.
And next is one of Harry’s photos.
Last memory of Kata Tjuta……..
Maybe we’ll be back in another 20 years!
Omg – the rock really is so very photogenic … but then you also say the photos don’t do it or the country around it justice, so it must be wonderful – I am feeling quite inspired to visit.
And no little sister, I did not know about your knees! But I am getting to thinking you might need a new pair ( pity the boys’ photo did not make it into the blog!).
Keep up the planking John 🙂
Fantastic photos!! You are certainly covering some ground. Kata Tjuta (?should’ve taken more notice of spelling) looks amazing and distances immense. Fuel prices appalling. Storing this all away in hope can get organised ourselves in next year or two. Enjoying blog:-)
Diesel was $2.33 at Kings Canyon!
Hey Pug – thanks for reading! More great planking photos to come. Pug X
